HOUSE OF HOPE
House of Hope has been so successful that even some people in the city have recognized it and the change it has brought to these children.
CHANGING A COMMUNITY
In 2013, we opened House of Hope, a drop-in center located across the border in Myanmar. Right away our beds were filled with 15 bare-footed street kids. This home is a safe place for children to eat a warm meal, receive an education, and hear the Gospel.
House of Hope has been so successful that even some people in the city have recognized it and the change it has brought to these children.
Before, the children were the thieves, scoundrels, and beggars on the streets, the fringe of society. They didn’t even know where to use the bathroom or how to use a toothbrush. Now they are loved, safe, secure children who are excelling in school! Everyone in the community is seeing the change in their lives! When street kids come up to you begging to become your number one students… people start to take notice!
