THE HEALING PROCESS
Every child who is rescued goes through a proven multi-step process, in which they end up with their own new family surrounded by love and constant care.
Transition Homes
Immediately upon rescue, the child is placed in a transition home on Life Impact’s land. There they receive physical, mental, and spiritual care until they are healthy enough to begin their new life with their forever family in a family-style safe home.
Family-Style Safe Homes
Each safe home on our property consists of a house mother, father, and siblings. This allows each child to be part of a loving family and experience a healthy parent/child relationship in a safe and protected environment. Here, they receive the love and security needed for further healing.
Trauma Counseling
For rescued children, working through trauma is imperative for the overall healing and recovery process. We do everything possible to bring healing to the whole child, (spirit, soul, and body) helping them to process and overcome the abuse they’ve endured, giving them the necessary tools to thrive and enjoy a healthy future.
