We often have individuals contact us to see how they can help fundraise on behalf of Life Impact. While we are grateful for them all, every once in a while, a very special and truly memorable fundraiser takes place. That was the case this past Spring as our long time LI family members, the Reynolds, gave their baby shower to Life Impact.
Instead of a traditional shower with loved ones celebrating the soon arrival of the new baby, where thoughtful presents are given to prepare the new parents for the days ahead; this shower was used as a time to help bring awareness to the countless vulnerable and at-risk children throughout the world. They opted to celebrate the birth of their little one by making a lasting impact in the lives of precious children, many who don’t have loving parents.
Attended by several of their closest family and friends, the Reynolds along with some of our team took the opportunity to share about the mission of Life Impact and how you can get involved in the work happening in Thailand, Myanmar, and Brazil.
Before the event concluded, our team was able to pray over the Reynolds and their precious baby.
Hearts were moved, (ours included) at the entire event and all that was shared, and the donations continued to come in even after the event. Through their indescribable generosity, the Reynolds raised over $2,600 as a result of their baby shower!
It was truly incredible and we are so very grateful! All in all, this event is one we will never forget!
