For the past year, Life Impact has been running a daycare program for our 19 rescued babies and toddlers. It is open Monday through Friday, run by our Thai and Burmese staff.
The babies and toddlers are broken into age groups to help their growth in physical, mental, social, and emotional development. The little ones love to go to daycare to sing and dance, play dress-up, learn numbers and colors, and learn about nature on our beautiful land.
The daycare also prepares them to start school. Our two and three-year-olds are learning how to read and write in Thai, Burmese, and also English! In May they will start going to pre-school at a local, Thai government school. We are excited to see them make this transition! We are also proud of our national staff for the great teaching and time that they have invested in our children!
